The Mouse and His Child

An illustration based on the 1977 film The Mouse and His Child, which is based on the children's story of the same name by Russell Hoban about two mechanical toy mice, a father and son, wanting to become "self-winding".

I recently watched the film as part of my forum's livestream (we often stream film and television oddities), and as I would expect, the film is much darker than one would think. Regardless, as a cinephile and film student, I won't lie when I say that I have a soft spot for it.
